Byzantine Chant at PAOI Begins February 28, 2005

A Byzantine chant course will be offered again at the Patriarch Athenagoras Orthodox Institute beginning Monday, February 28, 2005. The course will be eight weeks long and be taught from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. by John Boyer. The cost is $150 for the eight weeks plus any costs for materials. John Boyer is well know as the chanter at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, San Francisco and for his work with Capella Romana. He has studies Byzantine Chant with Lycourgos Angelopoulos of Greece.
