The Patriarch Athenagoras Orthodox Institute will hold its Annual Vespers and Open House, celebrating the Feast of Saint Demetrios on Sunday, October 24, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. Vespers will be celebrated local clergy in the Chapel of St. Demetrios. Following the Vespers, the Women's Board will host an open house.

On Tuesday, October 26, 2004, the Institute will host the Annual Saint Demetrios Day Lecture. This year's lecturer is Peter C. Bouteneff, Associate Professor of Dogmatic Theology at St. Vladimir's Seminary in Crestwood, New York. The title of Dr. Bouteneff's lecture is "Saints in the Age of the Simpsons." The lecture will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Institute.
